The Seattle Times: Celebrating the season at free-spirited Fremont festival

Elia Disorder was the order of the day in Fremont yesterday as the Seattle neighborhood kicked off its 34th annual Fremont Fair with the Solstice Parade. The parade featured music, dancers like Elia Pickens, photo, and the Gira Sol samba group, costumes and the event's signature naked bicyclists.

Organizers expect between 80,000 and 100,000 people to attend the fair, which continues today. (more)
